Whenever a friend or loved one is moving into a new home, you always have the option of buying a gift, or making one.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m all for buying whenever it’s possible but sometimes it’s nice to be able to do something special for someone.
And when it comes to DIY, my favorite things to make almost exclusively revolve around food.
This little creation I’ve whipped up is an easy and fun one – a beautiful bottle of rosemary-infused olive oil.
You can pickup a bottle at just about any craft store like Home Goods or Michael’s for less than $10. Add to that a bit of ribbon and labels for maybe a couple more dollars.
In fact, the most expensive part of the whole gift will be the olive oil itself but even so, we’re talking less than $20 – not much at all.
First things first… Make the label for your bottle and then after, you’ll want to drop some fresh sprigs of rosemary inside.
Once you’ve done that, add the olive oil and presto – instant and heartfelt gift – just the perfect addition to any new home.
It’s simple, pretty and cheap not to mention tasty!
Give this one a try soon!
