Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan and set it aside for later.
In a medium bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together. Combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and sea salt.
In a separate large bowl, combine the melted butter, peanut butter, and vanilla extract. Make sure you mix it well. When adding the eggs, do it one at a time so that you can be sure they are mixed together fully.
Last, fold in the mashed bananas.
Get the whisked dry ingredients and add them to the wet mixture. Mix everything together until you have a smooth batter. Be sure not to overmix it.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for about an hour. To check if it's done, insert a toothpick in the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the bread is done.
Note: You can tent the loaf with foil if the top is browning too quickly.
After it's done, remove the loaf from the oven. Let it cool off for about 10 minutes while it's still in the pan and then transfer it to a wire rack to completely cool.
No instructions needed, just be sure you have a slice while it's still warm - yum!
