Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tbsp. unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 8 oz. cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 4 oz. dark chocolate
  • 8 oz. whipped topping
  • chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a bowl, combine the brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  • While the brownie is cooling, prepare the silk layer. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing well.
  • Melt the dark chocolate and gently mix it into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  • Fold in the whipped topping to the chocolate and cream cheese mixture, creating a light and silky layer.
  • Once the brownie base is completely cooled, spread the silk mixture evenly over it.
  • Top the silk layer with additional whipped topping and garnish with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips.
  • Refrigerate the dessert until ready to serve. Enjoy the luxurious layers of fudgy brownie, silky chocolate, and fluffy whipped cream!
