Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 8- ounce package of cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 16 ounces of thawed whipped topping divided
  • 1 cup chopped peanuts divided
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • ½ cup caramel sauce optional

Instructions

  • Start by preparing the crust. Combine the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press the mixture into a pie plate to form a crust. Place it in the freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up.
  • While the crust is setting, prepare the creamy peanut butter layer. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, creamy peanut butter, and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping until well combined.
  • Once the crust is ready, spread the creamy peanut butter mixture over it, creating a smooth layer. Sprinkle half of the chopped peanuts over this layer, pressing them gently into the mixture.
  • Crown your pie with the remaining whipped topping, creating a fluffy layer. Let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or for the best results, overnight.
  • Before serving, drizzle the chocolate syrup over the top, and if desired, the caramel sauce. Sprinkle the remaining peanuts on top. Slice and savor every bite of this decadent dessert!
